Hi to all, i'm now running my biggest blitz tournament ever including all the top chessbase engines. Standing for the moment after more than 500 games of 660 1-Shredder 7.04_Super3 50.5/85 2-ChessTiger 15 47.5/85 3-Hiarcs 9 45.5/85 4-Deep Fritz 7 45.5/85 5-Fritz 8 44.5/85 6-Shredder 7_SuperAttack 44.0/85 7-Junior 8 42.5/85 8-Fritz in Bahrein 9-Deep Junior 8 10-Hiarcs8 Bareev 11-Gambit Tiger2.0 12-Deep Junior 7 CPU:PIV 2400MHz 512Mo Ram and 96Mo allowed for each engine. It's a double 5 RR tournament same book for the engines (My Nunn modified test set which contains 5 opening positions). I must say that the performance of Shredder 7.04 is impressive,it took the lead after only 20 games and no engine could contest it. But hi is loosing his mini-match against Junior 8 by 2.5 vs 5.5 The tournament hasn't yet finished. Hiarcs 9 confirms his good shape. Also CT15 is making a very good performance. Fritz 8.005 isn't far from the top and i think that the remaining games (A tartakower D58) will favor him. The final standing will be very close, but Shredder 7.04 should remain on the lead. Deep Junior7 has lost many winning or drawing games due to his known bug on managing his time.
