Two points: the ICC-CCT tournaments have always been very well attended, and people enjoy the experience (programmers especially). I can't recall any prize having been offered, though the topic has come up. With an online tournament, any significant prize would encourage cheating, imo. Any scheme to defeat cheating would either fail or cause people not to attend. The existing rules are pretty good, I think. I am happy with amateurs and perhaps a commercial or two. If no commercials attend, that's ok too. Will
