IIRC, I never lost a chess game to any computer until the Novag Super Constellation came out a few years later (and I bought & played nearly every model there was -- all from ICD, of course). Things changed fast, and now I can't beat a computer at chess to save my life (OK, I can beat the weaker programs on my Palm).
