Actually, I've got no problems with certain operators of amateur programs (Peter
Berger and Jose Luis Jiminez spring to mind) because they are knowledgeable
about the programs they operate and the authors are usually there as well
anyway. I guess I'd have no problem with an operator for a commercial programmer
if the programmer was there too and prepared to comment. But I would still
insist on *automatic* kibitzing from the program. That's a must-have in my
opinion.
