What GUI are you using for the games?

I ran a few engine v engine tournaments awhile back and discovered some
pitfalls. I believe that the native engine will usually win such tournaments. So
if you use the Hiarcs 9 GUI, it will probably beat everything else. But if you
use the Shredder 7 GUI, then it will probably beat everything else. So I think a
"neutral" GUI is needed to be sure that one of them isn't getting some kind of
unfair advantage built into the GUI.

Someone mentioned that the windows selection can play a part too. If you click
on a particular window with the mouse, so it is highlighted (selected), then and
it will get more processor time. That's how the Windows op system works. It
gives more processor time to highlighted/selected tasks.

You probably know about such things much better than me, just thought I'd pass
them along FWIW.
