Hi Swaminathan > what is the difference between Deep Shredder and shredder > deep fritz fritz deep junior junior etc Usually the Deep versions can use more then one processor. The differences are mainly some defines in the source to enable multitaksing capabilities, usually there is no other difference to the single version. In case of Shredder it is even the same executeable, you just set the number of threats to use more then one processor. The difference between Fritz 7 and Deep Fritz 7 at SSDF is the simple fact that Deep Fritz 7 is a newer version of Fritz 7 and plays a bit stronger. (Compared on one processor) Greets, Thomas P.S.: That's why I still think the currently Shredder 7 is the best buy - you get already the Deep version of the engine and you get 2 different very nice GUIs.
