Usually the Deep versions can use more then one processor. The differences are
mainly some defines in the source to enable multitaksing capabilities, usually
there is no other difference to the single version. In case of Shredder it is
even the same executeable, you just set the number of threats to use more then
one processor. The difference between Fritz 7 and Deep Fritz 7 at SSDF is the
simple fact that Deep Fritz 7 is a newer version of Fritz 7 and plays a bit
stronger. (Compared on one processor)

P.S.: That's why I still think the currently Shredder 7 is the best buy - you
get already the Deep version of the engine and you get 2 different very nice
GUIs.
