Subject: Which programs Benifit the Most From Hash Tables?

Hi CCC

  I have noticed on my computer (cyrix233 16meg of ram) some programs play
weaker than they should Mchess 7. specifically comes to mind. Wheras Rebel seems
to play very strong. I am wondering is it because of the limited amount of
memory that I have? Perhaps some Programs require larger hash tables than others
to perform at their maximum strength? Could someone shed some knowledge on this
most important subject? I would greatly appreciate it.
