I agree that they can serve as a reasonable rescue tool. But I prefer a live CD/DVD. Where I can put all the resources I could possibly need. Even a virgin system if needed. And then a RAMDisk as big as the PC can muster. As an aside I can tell you that after you have dragged an dropped on a CD-RW you don't want to use the FD anymore. MvH Dan Andersson
