I did all that, I checked to rebeluci.exe and rebel12_cb.exe are running , it
simply does not move out of book.

I just did a re-install.  I'm wondering that since installing it as an upgrade
to Gandalf if that is causing a problem.  I just check my add/remove programs _
I show the following Lokasoft products installed:

ChessPartner 5.2
ChessPartner 5.3
Gandalf
Chess Tiger 15
Deep Sjeng
Rebel 12 - Pre-release

but no Rebel 12, which is kind of strange.

perhaps all my installations of Lokasoft products are corrupted and there is
some type of copy protection scheme that is running amuck here?
