That's one of the psychological reasons why you cannot really lose if you play
on (even slightly) inferior hardware.

By playing on a too much superior hardware you are running the enormous risk of
drawing or even losing a game. If it happens you look ridiculous.

Even today everybody remembers the game won by Fritz against Deep Thought in
1995. Or the incredible victory of Ed Shröder against the mainframes in Madrid,
1992. Or Sargon II on 6502, also winning against several mainframes in 1978.
