I tried some of the winning lines suggested in previous threads against Fritz 8
and Shredder 7.04 giving them 5 minutes/move, and none of them can do anything
to avoid loosing with white. Of course, for a weak player like me, winning
without help is very hard, but it can be done.

Engines seem to have problems, not only with the first move, but with some
others later on. Eg: After 6.Ke1, Shredder needs more than 9:36 to find Qe3+,
which seems to be the winning move, or at least it leads to an easy victory.
After 10.Bf3, it needs 4:31 to find Qe4.
