Thanks Joachim..

I like Shredder in the ending more.. But I will check fritz also..

Junior is also known to be aggressive, but I found it to be positional..

The match with engines is still possible. But I have to start 2 tournaments in
October (World Championship semifinal 27 and jubile 2nd round) I usually play
less than 25 games (I have only 7 now) and it wouldn't be the ideal time to take
another tournament( I would cancel the WC semifinal, but they couldn't get
enough interested people until I got the WC player list. and I didn't want to
withdraw..). I may be getting a GM Norm in the olympics also ( I have 5 games
remaining there), so I didn't want to divide my attention...

Still, I believe that I can do very well against the computers .Being a GM is
not very important.. There are some advantages:
1)One needs to understand which program he is playing with ( I can guess at
least 1-2 already), and go after their weaknesses.

2)I usually analyze a single position with 3-4 engines, and chose a line that I
like the most... sometimes they may give totally different evaluations...I also
"jump" in my analysis, leading to different searches endong with a position that
may be 20 moves ahead.. It is difficult to do this with direct computer
analysis.

I also read "how to use computers to improve your chess" by Konsted.. nice book,
but he doesn't understand the engines as well as I do...(at least some of them)

well, I willl be busy for 6 months probably, but then I will be glad to take the
computers.. i believe that they are paying the GM, so I don't want to compete
with him..overall, i expect a crushing victory for me (3-3 is also possible as
chess is a draw with correct play of course) the trick is playing complicated
positions with very tactical lines!!! (contrary to one would expect to do
against the computers!)

I like this board.. there is a gap between the strong "chess players", and the
strong "chess program experts"... I belive that it is important to understand
both..

best regards,
Tansel
