Hi Patrick.. Please see my message to Joachim above.. I am not afraid of the chess programs at all. I belive that time is against me because they are getting stronger. But a match like that will need undivided attention and I do not want to do a lousy job.. You are right that I will be upgrading my computer! (my wife needed a new computer infact)...Infact i just ordered one today! But I am not in a speed race.. so I ordered a computer with a P4 2.6/HT800 with 1 GB Mem.. It is not the best, but it is enough for me know...But, I spent significant time checking computers with dual processors.. Overall, I didn't want to pay a lot of money to be "on top of the line"... (I will probably get 40-50% of speed, I guess).. (also Nunn's article in chessbase was built with dual 2.8 Xeon proc. with 1 GB Mem..) maybe you can give me an advice: is it worth 200-300$ to upgrade to 2 GB memory? would this help, or only "speed" is important in this computer for me now? best regards, Tansel
