Even with that limited opportunity for play it is hardly impressive; openings such as 1. d4 d5 2.Nf3 Nf6 3.c4 c6 4.e3 Bd7, 1.c4 e5 2.d3 Bc5 3.Nf3 Bd6 and 1.e4 e6 2.d3 d5 3.Nc3 Bc5 4.Nf3 d4 5.Ne2 Kf8 (in a ten-minute game; in the first two the last move was the first out of book yet made almost instantly) are pretty uninspiring, and I certainly wouldn't pay $18 for a problem with such restrictions and faults and no update in 18 months. A shame, as the number of worthwhile Palm programs is still two - although two very impressive ones, despite all the complaints. Alastair
