What is more, if I look at the debug.txt file produced by _successfully_ running Rebel12 under CP, and then type the same commands manually into rebel.exe, the program hangs. It hangs when I type "getvar bookmoves", or if I ignore this line, when I type "analyze" in the following example. By "hang" I mean the program stops accepting further input and produces no output.
