I tried the intrinsics only a little bit. What I dont like is that the compiler does not allow a simple cast between __mm64 and __int64. Yes, I know __mm64 is restricted to 8 byte alignment. But the mm instruction set already has support for unaligned data. And I dont like the syntax of the intrinsics. I prefer they define a set of operator functions.
