Each time a move cause a cutt of the counter of this move is increased if the move is already in the killer table. If the score of the second killer is higher than the first killer, then the killers are swapped. If the move is not yet in the table the second killer is removed and replaced by the new. Some programs use this schem with 3 killers. This is how i understand the killer heuristic. regards, Jan Willem
