English: Starting from 1 October there is to be new Fritz 8 CD according to Chessbase.de, even at a favourable price of approximately 40 euro. On that CD will be the engine Fritz 8,0026. It in November (Decembers) against Garry Kasparov in New York as “First Official World Chess Championship one vs. Machine in virtual reality” play. Personally it interests me whether this engine with "more power and position understanding" eliminated finally the Eduard-BUG-Nxe4 (contained in Fritz 8,0023 still) or not yet? If, then this new engine provides naturally a new challenge there for me, because I analyze as well known very gladly with Fritz! If the mentioned BUG should be contained in the engine still, then the engine is hardly suited for serious analyses despite the WM. Original german text: Ab 1. Oktober soll es laut Chessbase.de eine neue Fritz 8 CD geben, sogar zu einem günstigen Preis von etwa 40 Euro. Auf der CD wird sich die Engine Fritz 8.0026 befinden. Sie wird im November (Dezember) gegen Garry Kasparov in New York als „First Official World Chess Championship Man vs. Machine in virtual reality“ spielen. Mich persönlich interessiert, ob diese Engine mit "mehr Power und Positionsverständnis" endlich den Eduard-BUG beseitigt hat (in Fritz 8.0023 noch enthalten) oder noch nicht? Wenn JA, dann stellt für mich dieser neue Motor natürlich eine neue Herausforderung da, weil ich bekanntlich sehr gerne mit Fritz analysiere! Selbst im Mehrvariantenmodus verschwindet der Zug Sxe4 wie im Bermuda-Dreieck ! Es ist möglich dass Fritz 8.0026 etwas dazugelernt hat, und die obigen Stellungen löst, weil sie bekannt sind. Mir stellt sich jedoch eine andere Frage: ist das Problem an seiner Wurzel nun wirklich gelöst? Ich bin gespannt. Später kam als Update Fritz 8.0023, der diesen Killer oben nicht mehr zulässt, jedoch mit negativen Nebenwirkungen in den sogenannten "Offenen Spielen" !
