I'm quite surprised that it looked ok. But what about this? position from main line pelikan after 1. e4 c5 2. Nf3 Nc6 3. d4 cxd4 4. Nxd4 Nf6 5. Nc3 e5 6. Nb5 d6 7. Bg5 a6 8. Na3 b5 9. Nd5 Be7 10. Bxf6 Bxf6 11. c4?! 1 1 0 544 Qa5 2 1 0 3401 Qa5 Qd2 3 -1 22 29211 Qa5 Qd2 Qxd2 4 -1 99 109163 Qa5 Qd2 Qxd2 Kxd2 5 -6 527 563581 Qa5 Qd2 Qxd2 Kxd2 Bg5 6 -27 2532 2709644 bxc4 Nxc4 Be7 Qa4 Qd7 0-0-0 this seems significantly more unpleasent. Note that my engine does have check extensions, and the main line all the way up to ply 5 does involve a check, but still. It doesn't look so good. Also, are there many books on computer chess? I have read none. Are there other good titles you could suggest to me? thanks
