One day I am 1836 at blitz the next day I am 1705. My question is how do one successfully play the same as his tournament chess level. Sometimes my blitz games are decided by the fast time controls (SD)othertimes by longer 8 0 blitz levels. Chess Life readers asked Walter Browne he replied be very afraid when playing blitz chess (my paraphrase interpretation). Maybe as Mr. Sloan alluded to the "Searching for Bobby Fischer" movie when the chess coach told Joshua father that playing blitz was bad for his son's chess game. Right now I have decided against playing blitz for a while until I can ascertain what the hell is going on !? (possibly dubious decision) Your insight and contributions is welcome. cordially yours, Frank
