"Portable Pocket Computer" that's a new one for me. When you use the word "pocket", is "portable" redundant? How about "pocket pc". From my perspective "pocket pc" equals "PDA". I refrained from using "Pocket pc", because that is the brand associated with the Micorsoft OS. We also have "Palm" brand PDA as well. To be all inclusive I used the acromyn "PDA" to include the non "pocket pc" brand PDA's as well. I think it is well recognised that PDA are little "portable pocket pc's" and yes the ,Dell Axim is a PDA. http://www.dell.com/us/en/dhs/products/series_pda_snp.htm Note the "pda" in the url address - Dell also thinks what they are selling is a PDA. > >Isn't this getting exciting? > > >TJF > > >On October 03, 2003 at 20:13:05, Mike Byrne wrote: > >>A Dell Axim 400 Mhz (OS Mobile 2003) (overclocked to 472 mhz) hit 107,566 nodes >>per second while testing a beta chess program.
