Would it be ok to use a SIGNED 64-bit integer for a Zobrist key? I read Bruce Moreland's Zobrist key topic and he used UNSIGNED 64-bit in his example. I'm thinking that it really shouldn't matter whether its a signed or unsigned integer, as the XOR should work with either right? Also, is the original 1970 Zobrist paper "A hashing method with applications to game playing" or the 1990 reprint in the ICCA Journal available anywhere on the the net, hopefully in PDF format?
