Hello Thorsten,

Glad to find you back here again, where you belong. As you are inviting comments
here's mine. It deals with the selection of your programs, which is, as you say,
a mixture of your Summer tourney ELO's and the latest SSDF list. If this is so,
how come you are planning to include Hiarcs 7 beta, Shredder 3, Genius 6, or
even Diep 1.60, for Pete's sake? (They neither took part in the Summer Tourney
nor are listed on the SSDF.) How come you are not planning to include #1 on the
SSDF -- Fritz5, using its *tournament* book, and not the Powerbook CD? Wouldn't
it give your tournament more plausibility, and your approach more objectivity?
This way you seem to behave like an overly stubborn, spiteful child bearing a
silly grudge. And your grudge is only conceptual, a product of your own
mind-set, to which you are, naturally, entitled. Still, as a critic, I'd tend to
say that your grudge is rather too subjective -- you simply do not like fast
searchers (which you tend to call 'bean-counters'). That is all. However, I
believe that you should include Fritz5 because your nice tournament would then
turn into an unofficial World Championship and its end-score would carry a lot
of weight. (And, let's see again who wins: the 'bean-counters' or the
'illuminati'...)

I'd love YOUR comments now.

Best regards and welcome back again,
Djordje
