I'm running Rebel on a Dual Duron 1.3 GHz (256 MB RAM). I know it only uses 1 processor; using a FICS account it is getting constantly beaten by Ruffians... I tried to change the personality but still get in trouble out of the opening. Using Rebel Century's "Super" book and Rebel.mvs as second book; maybe this is not a good book to use against other engines? I'm playing at longer time controls now (10 15, 15 15, 30 15), as Rebel always loses on time under fast time controls without increment. :( Is it getting outsearched by Ruffian ? I'm planning to get 2 Athlons MPs to replace the Durons... so maybe it's only a processor issue? Does registered memory influence the results? A. Ponti
