One caveat -- I thought the Novag Diamond played so poorly that I question if
perhaps the machine has to be reset. If somebody has a Star Diamond/Sapphire -
look at move 14. ...Nb6 and see if your unit plays that move. There was also
some mysterious King moves towards the end that are suspect. Sometimes, these
electronic units get out of kilter and need to be reset.

on this position, Genius announced a mate-in 10 immediately after Star Diamond
played Kd8. Subsequent investigation showed that it takes Genius Beta on my
Axim 87 seconds to see this mate with hash set to 2MB. The ply count is
6,371,809. (73239 nps).
Other program times on my Axim are PF2 10 seconds and PGM 57 seconds.
