And once he goes there, what happens next? think zugzwang and you'll see the answer. IE once the black king goes to a8, white doesn't move the bishop or pawn. Black can only push the f-pawn. White king goes between g1 and f2. Eventually black has to play g1=Q, white takes the queen with the king and now black can only move the bishop between h1 and g2, unless he chooses to give up the f-pawn also. Once that happens, it is a simple drawn KBN vs KBP and white can force the trade of the pawn for a piece if he wants. It ends up a draw.
