Dear Mr. Eriq, Both Rebel 9 and 10 do not play very well at blitz chess unless you are using a 300 to 450 MHz Pentium or equivalent. The programs are big >700KB and this slows them down. I do the same thing when I want to win. It is fun to win but don't get a swelled head. I get beat like a dog when I play these beasts at 30 sec. to 60 sec per move. I rarely play to draw but will if I can't win. You are a very good player and you will only get better if you keep playing these tactical monsters. Play to the programs strengths and you will get stronger. The human mind is a superior instrument. Ed Schroeders' mind is quite superior and your mind will be challenged by his superior programs. When Hiarcs 7 comes out you should buy it. I think that it is better at blitz chess. Now if only Mark Uniacke and Ed Schroder get together to make a program that uses the strengths of both programs in a manner that choses the optimum algorithm for each position.
