The file is large: about 7,480,000 bytes Fritz menu: Help | About Fritz8... | Date: October 7 2003 The version of the Fritz chess engine is the same as before: 8.0.0.23 I think the new update contains mostly new items added to the Fritz interface. What is new? 2 new menu items Windows | Panes | Media Recorder and Chess Media System are added. It is the same as the Windows Media Player but accepts *.WMV files only. In Options | Multimedia tab, 3 new features are added as follows below: 1. Speech to Text 2. Speech 3. Microphone New menu item View | Full Screen 3d... is added. Esc key can be pressed to close full screen. Menu item File | Save position.. is added. You may save a position in jpg format. In Engine vs. Engine, 2 new features are added: Time increase (%) and Fixed depth. Lastly, closing Fritz8 can have a bug.... Eran
