I wanted to wait to respond to this, but after reading it again, I can't.

You are talking about throwing me out as a moderator, not because of anything I
have done wrong, but because some people are upset at me.

The issue of why they are upset at me, or if they are right to be upset at me,
has not been explored, and yet in your opinion I am gone, like that.

It would be one thing if I went around writing offensive posts.  But what I
wrote was right, and I'd write the exact same thing again.

Do you even know why you are voting to remove me?
