I started chess rather late in life and when I started playing in tournaments my rating went up to 1450 USCF but I realized I had started much too late to really accomplish much in the game although I still would like to get back into tournament play when I get more time. I mostly enjoy playing the personalities in Chessmaster 9000 but unless a program has such options of weakening its play it is a lesson in frustration for someone less than a master I would think.
