Well, the book Diep uses is in a binary form taking up 2.7 MB. It is well
indexed (the index is 2.1 MB). The reason I said that it was unorthodox is
clear: moves for White are 1.Ng1h3 (with an emphatic exclamation mark !, but you
also have 1.d2d3, 1.g2g4 and 1.c2c4. Nothing wrong there especially if Diep
plays instantly after almost any reply to 1.Ng1h3. It is clear that Diep has
well-developed and meticulously thought-out strategical patterns after this
strange opening move.

Vincent is a stronger player than me, definitely: my highest blitz rating on
ICC was 2578, his was 2620... and he is a better blitzer, no two ways about it.
Most probably a better player overall. But I am twice his age, so please give
me a bit of credit for that and count on me being a bit confused at times when
playing blitz. E.G. say that I wish to place my queen on a square while I end
up with my bishop there. Not that I mind my Bishop brushing sides with the
Queen...
