A pleasure to play my old friend W-chess, (this engine has gotten me in lots of trouble w/ wife). I don't think it improved much if any beyond it's last incarnation 'powerchess'. I like the fact that it is not as buggy and has great graphics, the story was great too. I think it is best suited for children, nice job hoyle. I may buy it for my son he's just starting to play and for just $20, why not.I do think that the engine could and should be improved, it plays weak in the endgame but can find great idea's in the middle. I only played a few blitz games and loss all of them :( Then decided to turn up the heat and play a 60 min 5+ fisher and the game ended in a draw but I had the win and miss it. All in all a nice program.
