If the better program in move ordering is also better in other things then the inferior program is not going to be tested because for some reason only top programs are tested and if the top programs earn the same from time we are going to find nothing. I also think that it is more interesting to start by giving the inferior program (at blitz) hardware advantage to make the result 50% and later see which program score more than 50%. In that case we will have no claim of smaller difference at longer time control. Uri
