They play in 3 months of time less games than Jan Louwman used to do in 1 month. Additionally i am not capable of shipping each week a new book to be used there. Principally speaking, I am not willing to do donate hardware to a surgeon who can pay for his own. In the meantime you get more and more pathetic claiming that PSQ isn't outdated and that being parallel is not so important. Especially that last is really pathetic knowing that all cpu's are either dual core or SMT already or will become that soon and just like you can set hashtable bigger, you will be capable of using more cpu's too when being parallel. If you are simply too lazy to make this yourself, then blaming with poor excuses that being parallel is bad, is not going to improve your estimation of other programmers. Especially knowing you as a very intelligent person, it is for me really hard to understand that you can't be objective at that terrain and confuse commercial interests, tiger not being parallel, with objective truths. Also not acknowledging that the only big improvements of the first few tigers versus current ones are evaluation. I remember a tiger version joining IPCCC (was it 1998 or something?) that played 1.e4,e5 2.Bd3 by itself. This is real dissappointing. Further with 1 exception who is also completely chanceless to win the world title (The King) everyone who makes a chance for the world title joins there in Graz. That includes Sjeng and Brutus and Junior and Shredder and even Fritz. And insults of Chrilly is not going to stop any of them to participate which is encouragable. That should tell you *something*. Yet i am honored that you guess i will be making in the long run a good chance with DIEP to win the world title, thanks, Vincent >On October 13, 2003 at 20:02:02, Vincent Diepeveen wrote: > >>On October 13, 2003 at 14:19:14, Christophe Theron wrote: >> >>If you would just make 1% chance at 60 in 2 + 30 level to win the world title, >>you would 100% sure show up there with Tiger doing 1.5MLN nps (very clever way >>to go btw considering your thing competes also at 25Mhz palms/handhelds). >> >>Yet you do not show up there. > > > >I'm a little bit tired of lotteries I must admit. > >Keep participating, one day you will demonstrate that it is possible to win the >world title with an inferior program (not that this has not been done before, >but if you win that will become very obvious). > >Top the SSDF and you will earn my infinite respect. > > > > Christophe > > > > > >>So cut the crap logics here. >> >>Note that you might want to ask your lokasoft team why Djordje is posting this >>nonsense with 6 year old diep versions he played playing 1.nh3 deliberately. >> >>I had to laugh loud for the very poor attempt of Djordje to open a certain >>discussion that has nothing to do with a match ruffian-diep.
