I have discussed with chris on the telephone. The problem is IMO : this whole shit is so long time ago, i have forgotten WHAT has happened, in which ORDER WHO has said WHAT to WHOM. i cannot even remember when it was, nor who started and why. I have deleted the whole 64MB stuff of emails from my harddisk a few days ago. I told chris the best to forget this stupid stuff. and make a new beginning. however. IMO we should better concentrate on computerchess. life is so short. and we have only ONE life to enjoy computerchess. It would be better (IMO) to "forget" all this "You have said this" because "he has done this" and "you did this". we should all make peace IMO. We have or still have different point of views. but on the other hand, we meet us so often and we enjoy all the same computerchess. We should try to live together. in peace. like when we meet us in paderborn. or wherever on the world. we have different ideologies. different cultures. but we should respect ourselves. and when a heated discussion puts us into anger and a heated debate, than we should find bridges to come back as friends. I have no problems to respect my friends, and also my enemies. We are all doing mistakes. And anybody tries to behave his own way. >I figured that if I was going to write in his defense there, that I should also >explain why I wasn't going to take the next logical step by advocating having >the alleged ban removed. > >bruce Understand. IMO it is up to chris if he wants to come back. IF he is not insulting the people from the other frontier, border, idology... he shall come back. if he can only insult them, it is better he is not coming back. In my world humans and ideas and actions are differenciated. also my hobby is more important than personalities. but - this does not stop me from beeing (sometimes) very agressive when it is in a discussion and i am different opinion. as i tried to explain you, this is normal in germany. we do not attack us with fists, or with guns, we normally discuss things very heated. and after the heated discussion, we go together in a pub and drink a beer together. thats the normal cultural background here. we are used to behave like this. very agressive. but not seriously meant. this is often misunderstood IMO.
