Subject: Chess Engine & Tablebases for Endgame Training Games

Does anybody know which engine is best for this purpose? I have HIARCS 9,
Shredder 7.04, Tiger 15, Deep Junior 8, Fritz 8, Chessmaster 9000, and Crafty
19.03. I will also use the Nalimov "Fritz Endgame Turbo Chess Training"
tablebases which came from Chessbase unless someone suggests a better set of
tablebases. For the simple endgames it may be possible to use the tablebases
without a chess engine, if I understand the tablebase instructions correctly.

An endgame training game consists of setting up an endgame position and then
trying to solve it in a reasonable number of moves.

Is there something about the better engine which makes it better for this
purpose?

I ask because I am going to be doing a lot of this as soon as my DGT electronic
board arrives. All training games will be played using that board unless
someone knows a good reason for not doing that. I would like to start with the
engine and tablebases best suited for that purpose.
