Junior 5.0 6. Chessmaster 3000-> Chessmaster5500 7. Nimzo98 8. Shredder 2.0 9. Some minor progs (cyrus, edchess etc) this is all of the major programs except M-Chess The best of the best program if you look at the big picture is a tie between Junior 5 and Fritz 5, because of their strength and features (especially the multi engine feature) and probably best non-stand alone database. Also the natural language game annotation is GREAT fun! Second place: Rebel 10 Third place : Chessmaster 5500(now 6000) Most fun and intresting style, great price. All the rest are just gravy to accent my three main courses listed above. Reynolds Takata USCF Life Master Fide Master P.S. Sorry i can't talk about M-Chess 8.1 because i don't have it but their is a review of it in Web Computer Chess Reports
