 First of all this seems like a bigger DSP to me. Been there done that. Or a
teensy vector processor.
 I used FP to gain more registers a long time ago on PPC machines. It was a no
win on x86.
 Returning to the chip in question. It seems like it would be hard to use
effectivly. Imagine feeding 25GFlops worth of data on a 6.4 GB/s pipe. And
factoring in the latencies. You would have to have a pretty compact data set
with no interdependencies to get to break even. The possibility exists that you
might calculate expensive functions.
 Hard to see that pay off.
