Well, my program Anubis gets quicky to ply 18 with a wrong move; in ply 19, when it starts analyzing e4 it seems hung. I've stopped it after more than 2 hours (PIII 933 with other programs running). I guess (haven't had time to study the problem) that the tree explosion has to do with checks in qsearch, that I do in the first plies without too much control. I'll try Averno (no checks in qsearch) to see what happens. Could you please post the pv of the solution for I can see where my program is incorrectly pruning? José C.
