Was this on the dual 2.0 GHz G5, or one of the cheaper models?

The result is better than I expected.  The 2.0 GHz G5 (if that is what you
used) seems to be almost as fast as a 2.0 GHz Athlon, and a bit faster than
a 2.4 GHz PIV.

I plan to get a G5 myself as soon as it is possible to buy a single-processor
machine with frequency at least 2.0 GHz.
