Hundreds of thousands of analyses [...] As said in another post (that seems to have been lost), this one is not the first program of such kind. Since 2000 i've posted about my test program "GenTest", that uses genetical algorithm. It play by itself and don't let user to insert moves, in this development phase. So it is not a usable program: but it play somewhat ;-). It is not a good program, becaues it play like a very bad player. I'm porting this algorithm on my chess program "Raffaela", with a lot of changes. I'm implementing an algorithm that i've called "Multi Dimensional Genetical Algoritm" MDGA, that will use GA and alfa-beta all-togheter. GenTest is available on http://www.gsei.org/download/gentest.zip. Ciao!!! PS: i can't open the link of your program :-(
