As I said, this issue did not happen with the March 2003 update, just with the Oct 2003 update. The March 2003 update works fine for me with Windows XP Home. A new Shredder704.eng was provided with the March 2003 update, and apparently remained the same after the Oct 2003 update. So I think it's probably a GUI issue. I'm guessing that some users of Junior, Hiarcs, Fritz, etc are seeing this issue too, but so far I've only seen one other confirmation - from another Shredder 7 user. If anyone else is seeing it, please speak up! Again, its a random stopping of Infinite Analysis mode after the Oct 2003 update, sometimes after a few minutes, sometimes after an hour or more. It's unpredictable. As for whether the Shredder 7 engine will run OK if Junior 8 or Hiarcs 9 CD is installed, I have no idea. I don't have Junior 8 nor Hiarcs 9. It would be interesting to know. WP
