Actually, all you have to do is open the database window ;-)

I tried it in the early development stages. In the meantime there has
accumulated some MySQL specific code that wouldn't work with Oracle.

With some additional effort I could make jose work with Oracle, but I guess
there is not a big market for it ;-)
Would you really want to launch an Oracle server just for viewing chess games ?

I also tried Quadcap (www.quadcap.com) which is a very nice pure-Java database,
but it can't beat MySQL in performance.
