Most engines were not designed to solve mate problem. They may use null move pruning that prevent them to see the solution or they do not care about the fastest mate and finding one mate is enough for them. If the target is to find thoughest mate then you need to test only programs that were designed to find mates like chest or special mate solvers in other programs. Uri
