  Hmm..... Food for thought.  I have direct x 9 in place I endeavored to change
the "APP" variable to 1 ( from zero) and vice versa -No JOY! I saved the changes
but when I reopened the log window it reverted to previous variable.. hmm  Aall
help is appreciated.
