     Hi Terry
I must disappoint you as I do never play engine matches
version X against version Y of the same program. In my
opinion this does not make much sense. I stopped such
experiments some years ago when I had a CM8-setting
that was cleary best against all other CM8-settings,
including CM8-default. But this "best" setting got
much worse results than the CM8777-settings of Stefan
Kleinert against other engines. And by the way: who
is interested in matches between Fritz 8.0.0.5 vs
Fritz 8.0.0.26 to give an example? The only thing that
counts is if F80026 is stronger than F8005 against
the rest of the world. I hope you understand what I
     mean.
     Kurt
