Well it depends on the DOS program, most old DOS games and programs can have
trouble running under Win95 or 98. I have many old games and programs that have
crash due to the speed of the newer hadware.

Apart from chess programs and a few utilities, DOS programs of my old P166MMX
and my new PII400 are pretty much nowhere to be seen. Just that some simpler
programs when dealing with graphics cannot handle the faster speeds.

Maybe time to upgrade to a newer or similar type of program that runs under
windows
