If I was to buy an Excalibur, I like the Grandmaster best. But I am not a big
fan of Excalibur units. The best feature any dedicated unit can is an LED on
every square. The next best feature is auto sensory. Then 16 LEDs for the
ranks and files.

The Mephisto Atlanta has the 64 LEDS but is not auto sensory. There is a Wood
Saitek model that goes for about $600 or $700 that has both 64 LEDS and Auto
sensory. The Excalibur Grandmaster is auto sensory but has NO LEDs at all.
That means you may have in good lighting to read the LCD for the moves. If you
think that may bother you - get a unit with at least LEDs on the ranks and
files.

If Excalibur spent a few extra dollars and put a 64 LEDs on every square - the
Gandmaster with Auto sensory would have beena bigger seller IMO.
