[D] 1K2k3/8/6p1/P4p2/3R1Pp1/8/8/8 b - - id mate in ??; This is a mate in 10 I believe. The interesting thing about this position is that for many engines if you look in their logs you see that if found a mate then said there was no mate then some time later found a mate again. This was true when running on a P2 300 mhz machine. However todays fast machines the engine may just anounce mate once and maybe shorten the mate but not display an PV score in between mate anouncements as was done on my slow P2 machine. Enjoy Bill
