You can purchase adapters that draw power from the pc, from an outlet or from
the car.

My best guess is that it may be between 2450 - 2550 SSDF. But I don't believe
in adding +200 to SSDF to get to USCF. That is all subjective of course. I do
know it can play with Genius 3 on P4 1.7 Ghz that is 12x to 16x (or possibly
more) faster than a P90. Genius 3 on a P90 is rated about 2300 SSDF. If you
assume doubling is worth 50 points (some people believe it is more, others say
it is worth less), that would put Genius 3 near 2500 SSDF on P4 1.7 Ghz machine.

On my Dell Axim, I am unable to say which program is strongest - PF2, PGM or
CGv1.5. They seem to very be close to me.

If you use pondering "on", it will use the battery much faster. This is true
with any PDA as the processor is going 100% all the time. If you overclock,
battery charge will go down faster. If you overclock to 120% - expect battery
life to be reduced by ~20%. Personally I have not played a game at 40/2 without
it being plugged in so I don't know the answer. If I'm uncertain how long I
will be before the next charge, I would set pondering "OFF". I have played Game
30/with pondering on and over clocking to 472 Mhg and the charge went down about
20%. So I would not expect the Axim to last around 5 hours with procsssor going
full speed for all 5 hours. For ordinary use, there is hardly a drain at on the
Axim. They also have longer charge battery for about $60. That may be worth
getting just for the benifit of having two batteries. My Ipaq and Palm did not
have replaceable batteries - although I am sure they have versions that do now.
